Ulta Pulta

We are having dinner at our favourite Chinese restaurant. Dim-sums arrive and the kids cannot wait to gulp it down. Tunmun starts cutting hers with the knife. As she struggles, I notice that she is using the wrong edge of the knife.

“Tunmun, tum ulta kaat rahi ho.” I say.

Tunmun promptly overturns the dim-sum and starts cutting again πŸ™‚

  1. Kids and their innocence, gradually, very gradually I am making baby steps towards liking them :). Okay don’t give me those looks, I am not natural at cajoling or playing with kids n stuff like baby talk 😦

    • LOL :). I was like you till Venky happened. BTW, I can do baby talk and playing only with MY kids. With other kids, I am still cold. Only my kids make me go mush πŸ™‚

      • oh thank God I heard someone else say that too. I was never mushy with kids. and it’s only with my kid that I can be silly. but I love the side he brings out in me. other people’s kids? mostly like a school teacher – interested but detached. never gushy cooey.

but I love the things kids say. any kid! πŸ™‚

        • Actually I mostly find other kids irritating, esp. when their parents are failing to control them. But my kids, the blog is proof that I am obsessed with them πŸ™‚ Double standards , eh?

  2. ROFL!!! But mommy you didn’t instruct properly no ? πŸ˜›
